Field Trips

Field trips in school reinforce what a teacher has been instructing in class about a subject and help students understand the topic better! ! The type of memories that Educational trips create, called ‘episodic memories’ helps children retain information for longer periods. At Camford, national as well as international educational trips are planned.

Clubs

TCIS has a plethora of club activities in school and also extracurricular activities to bring out the innate capabilities in the student. These fun activities bring the child out of his shell and boost confidence and team spirit.

There are many clubs available for the student to choose from as per the interest. Regular meetings are held and expert guidance given by facilitators.

Council

Students need to develop skills of being part of a team, of working together for a common goal and how to lead when opportunity presents itself. Student Council in school is encouraged and provided all reasonable support to students to form and run the student council. They have a voice in the matters that affect their lives and are provided with opportunities to participate in decision making. All the students are encouraged to participate in the student council to develop leadership qualities.

House System

The House system fosters the values of team spirit, commitment, loyalty, qualities of Leadership, Organisational Skill, Public Speaking, feeling of belongingness among students through various Inter-House Competitions and School Functions. 

Points are awarded to students throughout the year for co-curricular activities through Inter House competitions. At the end of the academic session, the house gaining the highest point is awarded the trophy. Each House is under the charge of a House Master/Mistress along with House Captains and Prefects who shoulder the responsibility to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the House.

NCC

The National Cadet Corps was introduced at Camford in 2016 for the students of grades 8 and 9 both boys and girls to inculcate and instil a sense of duty, commitment, discipline, dedication and moral values. The NCC cadets assemble twice a week for physical training and aero modelling.

Scouts & Guides

The Scouts and Guides programme was introduced in the year 2017 for the students of grades 6 and 7. True to the mission of educating young people through a value system based on the Scout promise and law to help build a better world and play a constructive role in society, the enthusiastic youngsters of this programme actively participate in eco programmes / training and meet once a week to imbibe team spirit. They attend camps twice a year. Scouts and Guides in School bring out Active Global Citizens.
